Have you ever seen something out of the corner of your eye that seemed not quite right but when you looked everything was normal? Have you ever thought you saw a tree move or saw lights you thought of as fireflies? If so then Tithe is for you, unless you think all faeries are cute and happy .
In Tithe Kaye learns that her childhood “imaginary” friends are really faeries, who now need her help. She’s got her friend Janet, a possible boyfriend in Robin and a mom who’s looking for the perfect band to bring her fame. All is not what it seems and Kaye has to figure things out quickly before everything changes and the faeries are let loose and chaos ensues.
I love Kaye and her independence and quick thinking and I love the world Holly Black has created so I’ve immediately started on the next book.
